Join us a part time Support Worker for 20 hours per week (experienced or not) and you'll soon see why. Outline You will be supporting Jack (aged 40) and Mollie (aged 22) to live as independently as possible in their own homes. They both live next door to each other in their own bungalows. Both Jack and Mollie will need support with a range of activities from the everyday living needs and ‘must dos’ (such as assisting with medications, supporting with attending health and medical appointments), through to the lighter side of life doing things like becoming involved with; Horse riding, karaoke, discos, concerts, music, dancing, theatre, swimming, shopping, cinema, going to the pub, football (MK Dons), support with finding employment, socialising, performing arts, soaps (especially Hollyoaks)phew The list is endless To summarise; Jack requires more support with medication, personal care, activities (some listed above) and helping him with household chores. And Mollie requires support with activities (as above) and helping her to build her indpendence. Shifts are worked on a rota basis covering: 11am-3pm, 12pm-5pm, 4.30pm-10pm, 7.15am-2:45pm, 2:30pm-10pm, 7:30am-10:30am. As long as you have the passion and drive to want to make a real difference, we’ll teach you the rest. With your key attributes and our training, together we can deliver the best possible support. You must be a driver with a manual licence, as you will be driving service vehicles.
