Laboratory Supervisor
Overview
A new opportunity has arisen working in our Primary Manufacturing Department. The successful candidate will be involved in: Ensuring that products are manufactured, documented and tested to specification Acknowledging, reviewing, updating and approving relevant documents on the system. Gaining an understanding of the importance of their role and how/where this fits into the company. Conforming to good laboratory practice and health and safety requirements at all times and ensuring that correct Personal Protective Equipment is worn when required. Completing production worksheets and spreadsheets, ensuring data transfer and calculations are carried out correctly. Ensuring that all equipment used within the department is maintained & calibrated in accordance to the relevant SOP. Identifying problems / issues as they arise and be able to communicate these to appropriate members of staff and to suggest potential solutions and improvements. Ensuring that all manufacture and in-process testing performed within the department is documented as required by the company, regulatory and legal requirements Stock control transactions, and take responsibility for ensuring all inventory within the department is accurate and correctly recorded. Overseeing routine inventory counts within the department & group Assessing and managing staff performance in relation to company expectations Essential: Science based degree or equivalent qualification Laboratory experience Previous experience of working within a quality management system Previous experience of working to GMP or ISO13485 standards Excellent communication skills Microsoft Office experience Well organized/good time management - working to deadlines Able to multitask and prioritize Good analytical skills Able to problem solve To be flexible to the needs of the business This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89693503
