As a result, we currently have a number of vacancies for Human Factors Engineering at Junior, Senior and Principle levels. Roles and Responsibilities You will be responsible for providing our clients with specialist knowledge and support relating to nuclear and radiological safety to ensure ‘right first time’ compliance with regulations. We are looking for individuals to support both new-build infrastructure as well as projects relating to the development and maintenance of existing safety cases. As a Human Factors Engineer at NESC, responsibilities will include: Act as a subject matter expert for the processes and techniques involved in Human Factors Engineering. Provision and guidance of Human Factors consultation to a team of engineers whilst supporting the preparation of system specifications Application of knowledge of physical ergonomics to evaluate critical systems. Essential Skills and Experience Qualified to degree level. Highly technically capable within own discipline. Strong ability to communicate in all situations and at different professional levels.
