Job Title: Contract Human Factors Engineer Location: Plymouth Duration: 12 month contract Rate: £50-65 p/h (Negotiable for right candidate/s) Contract Human Factors Engineers required for long term work in Plymouth. The client is ideally seeking people from the following backgrounds; nuclear (submarines exp. Desirable), defence (air, land & sea), civil aviation. Other industries of interest would be Oil & Gas and rail. Experience in the following areas: To work in multi-functional projects and different areas of Human Factors; To provide a human engineering focus on a variety of service and product based work Involved in all phases of the lifecycle you shall have inputs to defining HF requirements, systems integration, setting up and running assessments and generating qualification evidence. Work may include human workload, situation awareness, human reliability analysis (HRA) and cultural interventions. Human factors integration (HFI). Human Error Assessment & Reduction Technique (HEART). Human Factors support to Safety Cases. Demonstrate excellent communication, teamwork, and performance skills.
