This nursing home specialises in Mental Health needs including Schizophrenia, Bipolar, Korsakoff, Dementia and people who have challenging behaviour. So we are ideally looking for a Mental Health Nurse or someone who has experience working with these residents. Responsibilities - Assume full responsibility for the day to day running of the home in the absence of the Registered Manager - Manage a team or nurses, care workers, ancillary staff etc. ensuring best practice is carried out - Review the care needs of residents in accordance with best practice standards and contractual requirements - Ensure the service provided meets the CQC quality compliance and other regulatory standards - Monitor and ensure that the health and safety and infection control standards in relation to the premises and equipment are maintained Experience Required: · An active NMC pin · RGN/RMN Degree qualification · Experience supporting a registered manager · Good Literacy and Numeracy skills with excellent communication skills.
