£17.31 p/h Paid Breaks - Band 6 Equivalent/Circa £32.3K | 36 Hour Contract - Days | Mental Health Nursing Home – Good CQC | Great Benefits| RGN/RMN/RNLD Considered A leading County Durham nursing home currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced RGN, RMN or RNLD with managerial or supervisory experience to work as Deputy Manager on a full-time, permanent basis. The 40 bedded, fully CQC compliant home offers round the clock nursing care to adults of all ages with a range of care and support needs, including dementia and elderly mental health, schizophrenia, alcohol related brain damage and challenging behaviours. Details of this RGN/RMN/RNLD Nurse Deputy Manager position and what the home is offering: A full-time, permanent contract working 6 hours per week mainly on day shifts, however some flexibility for evenings and weekends will be required for quality monitoring purposes Great hourly pay rates of £17.31 plus paid breaks, which is in line with NHS Band 6 rates of pay and a salary in the region of £32,380 Ongoing learning and development opportunities in addition to a comprehensive induction A great staff benefits package which includes retail and lifestyle discounts and a range of perks and employee support programmes As RGN/RMN/RNLD Nurse Deputy Manager, you will support the Home Manager in all aspects of the running of the home and duties will include coordinating, managing and monitoring care, delivering clinical leadership and line management to the care and nursing teams and running the home in the absence of the Manager. What we are looking for in a Nurse Deputy Manager: NMC Registered Nurse – Adult/RGN, Mental Health/RMN or Learning Disabilities/RNLD will all be considered Demonstrate proven experience in a supervisory role in a clinical setting Post-registration experience of working in an elderly care or long-term adult care setting Good working knowledge of CQC essential standards and best practices of care Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a positive, proactive approach to leadership If you are interested and would like to apply now, please follow the link provided.
