We are currently seeking a dynamic individual who will manage small to medium sized, complex constuction projects to latest industry and contract standards, contributing to ECC's strategic aims to deliver agreed outcomes within time and cost constraints. You will be responsible for efficient management of the project and the project team, providing expertise and specialist knowledge to manage and deliver construction projects for the residents of Essex , that align to the Council's expectations and budget, whilst ensuring risks are mitigated and escalated as appropriate. Educated to degree with a project management qualification or accreditation such as, APM Practitioner, Prince 2, NEC3 or NEC4 Accredited Project Manager, you will evidence successful completion of several projects in a similar role and experience contributing to a range of other projects and/or programmes. You will have experience of delivering a full range of duties required of a either a NEC3/NEC4 Project Manager or JCT Contract Administrator / Employers Agent, with Experience of working within a political environment with knowledge of a public sector setting and involvement in a large, complex environment. You will be confident in working with a diverse range of individuals at varying levels within a number of complex organisations and engaging with them, finding ways to overcome obstacles, with good leadership and behavioural skills, and the ability to influence and motivate professional staff and building diverse teams In turn, we can offer you a highly competitive package that includes access to our desirable pension scheme, life assurance (of three times your salary), generous annual leave - plus the option to buy additional holiday.
