Overview
Assistant Financial Accountant Your new company An established manufacturing organisation based in Leeds is recruiting for an Assistant Financial Accountant for a minimum of 6 months. Your new role As the Assistant Financial Accountant, you will be reporting directly into the Financial Accountant, supporting them with a variety of duties. You will have responsibility for the posting and reconciling bank accounts, balance sheet and inter-company reconciliations and project work. In addition to this, you will be assisting with the monthly reporting, process implementation, reviewing historic inter-company balances and VAT/tax returns. What you will need to succeed In addition to your qualifications (part-qualified, AAT or by experience), you must have previous experience of reconciliations and ideally with double entry and intercompany journals. Additionally, you will have a good understanding of VAT and tax returns and excellent excel skills. What you will get in return As well as a competitive salary of up to £32,000, you will gain exposure across a variety of duties while supporting the Financial Accountant, have access to on-site parking and this role will be for a minimum of 6 months.
