Studio Assistant - Inbound/Outbound

Overview

The inbound role is one of the most important roles within studio operations as it the physical act of receiving products from fulfilment centres (FC’s) or vendors into the studio which can then be processed through the studio and eventually make their way onto the photo bays. Associates begin by scanning a product barcode into the product imaging tool Picture2, from there they must then make a series of decisions that will dictate how the product makes its way through the studio. The final process of the product’s life in the studio is for it to be returned to where it originally came from, this is known as outbound. Picture2 is used to achieve this, associates will create a transhipment and then scan products and place them into a boxes to be shipped out of the studio. Responsibilities incude: Support the daily movement of products through the studio by scanning and separating individual items into product studio and fashion studio Assisting with the daily delivery of products from couriers which involves carrying boxes from the delivery truck into the studio Scan and receive products virtually into the studio, with attention to detail to be able to identify issues or duplicate products Able to do basic problem solving and identifying which issues need to be escalated. Maintaining organisation and cleanliness of the inbound area and your inbound desk. Ensure that carts are kept in the correct locations and the area is prepared for the next working day. Assist with the daily collection of outbound boxes by helping carry them from the studio to the collection truck. Strive to meet and exceed performance goals. Able to lift up to 15kg using correct manual handling guidelines to avoid injury Comfortable using pump trucks to move pallets around the studio Ensure that safety standards are upheld as per studio guidelines and wearing appropriate PPE when necessary.
