Overview

Technical Optimiser Kelvedon, Essex Monday-Friday (7.30am-5pm) Up to £28k per annum (DOE) My client, a friendly, family-based company based on the outskirts of Kelvedon is seeking an experienced, attentive individual to join their business as a Technical Optimiser. Knowledge of CAD & ability to read technical drawings is imperative to be successful in this role. Your duties will include but not be limited to: Liaising with the Sales and Design team to gain technical drawings to process onto the system Inputting dimensions of customer orders onto the system Ensure optimised use of raw materials including existing off-cuts at all times to minimise waste Cross checking orders for errors Organising orders for the production team to ensure efficient production of products Ensuring there are no issues with dimensions/drawings Data input onto shard Excel spreadsheet for order updates Liaising with customers via email and telephone regarding order discrepancies Notifying colleagues of low stock Collating paperwork for the warehouse, delivery and production teams The ideal candidate: MUST have excellent data entry speed (10,000 KPH) MUST have the ability to read technical drawings High level of accuracy and attention to detail Intermediate user of all Microsoft packages, especially MS Excel CAD experience If this sounds like an ideal role for you then please do not hesitate to contact us.
