A pub situated in the Retford region of Nottinghamshire is recruiting for a Sous Chef Role: An upmarket food led pub offering Brasserie style dining is seeking a Sous Chef to join the small team of chefs working in the kitchen at the venue.The pub is seeking a Sous Chef who can bring strong all round cooking skills to the kitchen as well as being involved in the day to day running of the department.The role will give you an input onto the menus as the kitchen has full autonomy to create their own sticking within the modern British, Brasserie style guidelines.At times you will also be required to take control of the kitchen running service times whilst ensuring that the high standards are maintained. Requirements: A Sous Chef who has been working to one or two AA Rosette standards in their most recent role where you clearly showed all round cooking skills in the kitchen.An ambitious chef who has plenty of fresh ideas with a modern outlook on cooking but with knowledge of the classics.The ability to direct others in the kitchen and run service when needed to is essential.
