Overview
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced pre-litigation paralegal with a background in the legal or insurance sector. You will join this well-established Leeds based specialist insurance litigation practice, where you will progress your career in their highly regarded disease team. The successful industrial disease paralegal will have a minimum of two years' experience in the disease sector, either in a law firm or insurance environment. You will ideally have worked within a defendant firm, although we're happy to consider paralegals from a claimant background with solid experience. Ideally, you will have a pre-litigation caseload of your own, consisting of NIHL and HAVS employer's liability occupational disease claims, acting for insurers on a delegated authority basis. You will be a strong team player with excellent organisational and analytical skills; you will be an excellent communicator and will be able to evidence your experience of working closely with insurer clients to deliver a pragmatic, commercial result.
