Senior BD Manager (Insurance) - International Law Firm
Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Development Manager to join a fantastic international law firm as part of a rapidly expanding and highly valued BD team. The role of Senior Business Development Manager involves a high degree of people management and significant involvement and influence with partners and associates in the UK and internationally. You will enjoy a broad role encompassing all aspects of business development and marketing. Specific responsibilities will include developing strategic business plans focusing on key clients and driving revenue generation whilst developing and implementing best practice techniques internally across all areas of marketing and BD. You will also have involvement in the bids and proposals process working closely with specialists to ensure that the firm is distinguished above others and that the all opportunities are seized. This role would suit a bright graduate or equivalent with considerable experience of working as a Business Development practitioner at senior management level within a fast-paced professional services environment, preferably within the legal industry, to include experience of managing and coaching the development of junior team members. The Senior Business Development Manager must be willing to act as a strong team player, working closely with the rest of the marketing and business development teams. Some knowledge of the Insurance sector is highly desirable, but not essential. Leighton Taylor promotes diversity, equality and fair treatment in all aspects of our work. It is our policy that as a provider of marketing and business development recruitment services, we will work to address existing inequalities, eliminate discrimination and promote equal opportunities and diversity. We translate this into all aspects of our everyday work and will aim to prevent discrimination or other unfair treatment against any of our staff or any users of our services regardless of gender, age, race, colour, nationality, ethnic origins, disability, sexual orientation or political and religious beliefs.
