Senior Lawyer - Public Procurement (high profile project)
Overview
Job description: Public sector regulatory body is seeking a Lawyer to start ASAP on a 12 month FTC basis to take lead on a high profile public procurement project. This is a rare opportunity for someone to help shape the future of a national institution. Reporting to the Executive Director and Head of Legal responsibilities will include: - taking a key role in the public procurement and tendering process, drafting and reviewing contracts and providing legal advice - ensuring the policies and procedures are legally robust, accurate and detailed - working closely with relevant central government departments and other key project stakeholders - advising on related regulatory and public law matters - liaising with external counsel To be considered for this role, you will be 5 years PQE as a guide with strong technical and stakeholder management skills. Public procurement experience in the UK is essential.
