A Kitchen and Bathroom Showroom Designer for our client is proud to give customers a knowledgeable, friendly and dependable service every time they visit. As a national builders’ merchant, they ensure customers can always find what they need, either in one of the over 150 stores or online, they aim to be there when their customers needs them. Day to day you’ll provide a personalised service to all customers, handling their enquiry/order from their first visit to the showroom through to completion of their project. Key responsibilities will include: Designing dream kitchens and bathroom Using product knowledge to identify sales opportunities, offering advice and solutions to customers, ultimately maximising profitable sales. Playing the lead role in building relationships with consumers, plumbers, builders, joiners and property developers Producing 3D designs for customers using CAD. Always looking for opportunities to enhance the sales and customer experience through continuous improvement. Responsibility for internal marketing and customer networking Ensuring the showroom presents a professional image at all times. Achieving and aiming to exceed sales targets and KPIs. Being involved in projects to make operational/service improvements, resolving issues and delivering objectives. Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment in line with company guidelines. Supporting all colleagues in working as one team to ensure the branch in which you work operates efficiently and effectively. Liaising with suppliers where necessary. Completing administration duties as assigned. Working from the Norwich Branch The Person Ideally previous experience of Kitchen and Bathroom design and sales Experience of working in a showroom Experience of CAD desired but not essential Strong customer service skills and able to build rapport Strong numerical skills Enthusiastic, flexible, resilient attitude with a willingness to undertake a variety of tasks Able to work on own initiative, with a “can do” positive outlook even when under pressure. Excellent communication and team working skills Confident interacting in person and over the phone. To be tidy and organised with an eye for detail.
