Head of Manufacturing

We are currently recruiting for a growing chilled food manufacture based within the South East, with significant expansion plans in place across the whole of 2020 they are looking to add experience to their senior leadership team in order to support the future strategy of the site The Head of Manufacturing role will report directly into the Site GM and take responsibility for the operations, engineering and project teams across the site, ensuring that the factories are running to optimum efficiency on a day to day basis as well as looking at the longer term strategy. With significant expansion plans expected during 2020 this role will be critical in planning capacity and layout across the operation to ensure that the additional business is introduced in the most efficient way which will include acquiring and implementation of machinery and new technologies. The role will focus on development and training of the middle management tier to ensure that appraisals and development plans are in place for future succession planing. In order to be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate that you have worked with a fast paced food manufacturing environment, you will have the ability to lead from the front and engage with a diverse workforce. You will be very into the detail and be able to give strong examples of how you have improved efficiencies and performance at a site.
