Overview
2nd Line Support Engineer £15 per hour for a 7.5 hour day, Monday to Friday Inside IR35 Based in Manchester 3 Month contract with possible extension beyond. Job description: Resolution of Incidents and Requests that cannot be resolved by telephone or remote means and require a physical presence On-site support for moves, cascades, and changes. Desktop Operating Systems, connectivity, remote communications, and hardware-software compatibility issues Software loading and configuration Customer Operating system troubleshooting Primary support for Desktop /Laptop break fix Perform basic troubleshooting of telephony systems and engage local Ford IT support as necessary. This includes activities like checking for functionality and basic on-location connections but does not include in-wall cabling. Perform basic, low level, troubleshooting for printers and IP phones. This is limited to locations with an onsite technician and checking for power and network connectivity, and plugging in hot spares.
