Overview

Dev ops Engineer required to join a global solutions provider based in Central London. This is a contract opportunity paying £450-480 per day for an initial duration of 3 months, likely to extend. Please note, this opportunity is inside scope of IR35. The Role Planning, creating, managing and operating a cloud infrastructure in a Microsoft Azure environment including on-boarding and transitioning projects from inception to live and managing ongoing BAU. Essential Skills Azure infrastructure experience. Experience working in an Agile environment. Powershell script development. Azure networking, storage and identity management across both the traditional on-premises Datacentre and Cloud. Active Directory. Knowledge of Windows Servers and Linux Servers. Experience in performing maintenance releases of Microsoft OS. Familiarity with the Azure Management Console. VmWare. Powershell. Related skills and technologies Experience of shaping and managing the policies, processes and procedures for an effective incident/change/problem management system Good technical understanding of Office Productivity, Microsoft based operating systems and applications such as: oWindows 2008/2012/2016 oSQL 2008/2012/2014/2016 oWindows 10 oOffice 365 oMonitoring tools - OMS/SCOM/ActiveXperts oStorage Solutions - Netapp/Storsimple oGood understanding of Azure - not essential - training will be given Communication skills to a diverse audience Management of troubleshooting and problem solving of IT issues Desirable Skills Azure Certification Discovery and monitoring tooling SQL / SQL DBA ServiceNow ITIL knowledge or qualifications This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89784412
