Embedded Software Engineer – Innovative Consultancy – Excellent Salary Package offered. Opportunities available from Graduate level up to Senior Consultant to develop real-time software for embedded systems for a range of projects in healthcare, smart city technology, advanced robotic systems, underwater or aircraft-based sensor and communication systems. You’ll be qualified to a minimum of Degree level, will be comfortable participating in sales and client meetings, will be an excellent problem solver as well as having solid experience of real-time embedded systems. Experience with wireless protocols and an understanding of schematic diagrams would also be a distinct advantage. In this Embedded Software Engineer role you will be configuring embedded peripherals on microcontrollers and interfacing to external devices using techniques such as GPIOs, SPI, 12C and UARTs. You’ll also test and refine your solutions at hardware level using equipment such as oscilloscopes. There will also be opportunities to develop solutions for non-real-systems such as stand-alone PC applications and mobile device apps, in a variety of programming languages. With work driven by technical development and innovation, this established Consultancy seeks Embedded Software Engineers with a clear passion for technology, an adaptable approach and who enjoy learning new skills.
