Overview
Are you an Embedded Linux Software Engineer who is comfortable developing software for a variety of platforms, has a good Technical Degree and experience of writing Yocto recipes? A growing Consultancy offers you the chance to work on a range of projects from advanced robotic systems and smart city technology to advanced radio networks and underwater sensor and communication systems. In this role you will be developing embedded Linux board support packages and kernel device drivers as well as developing real-time software for embedded Linux targets; for systems such as radars, radio base stations and remote telemetry sensors. With customer facing aspects to the role, you must be comfortable participating in sales and project meetings with clients as well as having the ability to generate the technical responses to bids and tenders. The ideal Embedded Linux Software Engineer will hold a good technical degree gained from a respected University and will have in-depth knowledge in embedded Linux board support and application development. You will be provided with all the support and training you need to complete your projects and you will have the opportunity to grow your skills and enjoy career progression in many dimensions.
