We are looking to recruit professional, reliable, passionate and caring people who want to make a real difference to peoples' lives by providing high quality relationship centered care to residents in our ‘state of the art’ care homes. What to expect As a Senior Care Assistant, you will take the lead and assist with all aspects of care within the home including getting involved with the recruitment and training of the care team; ensuring training targets are met and the teams are competent in their roles. You will provide and ensure the highest standards of care are achieved in all areas of the home including relationship centered care, clinical care and dementia care. You will be responsible for leading, managing and supporting your care team ensuring high quality of care and service is provided to all residents at all times. You’ll play a key part with care delivery in the home, ensuring care plans are regularly reviewed continuous assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of resident’s care. You will take an active part in engaging with residents in conversation and meaningful occupation related to their lifestyle choices at a level and pace that values the individual and respects their dignity and communication differences. Skills & Experience Ideal candidates will hold a QCF Diploma Level 3 / NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), have worked in a care position for a minimum of 2 years and have a proven track record leading, empowering, supporting and motivating a clinical team Candidates will also have strong customer service skills and have excellent written, non-verbal and verbal communication skills. Experience desirable but not essential in delivering high quality relationship centered care and have knowledge of dementia (for care homes for people living with dementia).
