DevOps Engineer - Docker / Kubernetes Overview: A fantastically successful market leading FinTech organisation who work within the Insurance industry requires an experienced DevOps Engineer with strong Kubernetes & Docker skills to support their infrastructure, software applications, development and integration teams, within their chosen technologies. Role & Responsibilities: ·Build and configure cloud configuration including installing and configuring new environments using automated tools. ·Automated management of all server components using Puppet, Packet, Ruby, Docker, Terraform ·Support the software delivery process by identifying and providing appropriate pre-production environments. ·Manage all code deployments and infrastructure changes to control environments in a controlled auditable manner. ·Ensure robust Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Managements processes are in place and tested to make sure applications are fit for purpose. Essential Skills & Experience: ·Excellent experience of Docker and Kubernetes ·Detailed cloud platform experience, ideally AWS, if not Azure, Google Cloud etc. ·Scripting & coding experience ·Experience operating 24x7x365 customer focused environment ·System admin level knowledge of Linux Desirable: ·Terraform ·Apache ·Tomcat Package: ·£80-95k basic salary ·10% annual bonus ·13% pension (8% company contributory) ·25 days annual leave (plus 8 Bank Holidays) ·Private medical cover and a range of benefits that you would expect from a great employer DevOps Engineer - Docker / Kubernetes This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89926578
