Overview
Drivers Direct Recruitment Ltd are one of the largest independent recruitment agencies in the UK for the transport and logistics sector. Drivers Direct in Leeds, are recruiting for a HGV 1 driver to work with our client based out of Ripon. This will be ongoing work. This is a non ADR tanker position. Experience preferred but not essential as paid training provided. The Positions: days 4 on 4 off shift pattern The Role: Going to various Water Treatment Sites, pumping sludge HGV 1 Tanker who is happy to use HGV 2 tanker extra shifts available when hours permit Be able to work on own initiative Follow, promote and communicate the use of safe working practices in line with all relevant Health and Safety Legislation and Company's procedures Training paid - at £1 less than normal rate Rates of pay (DAYS) £13.00 per hour Monday to Friday (PAYE rates available) £15.00 per hour Saturday (PAYE rates available) £17.00 per hour Sunday (PAYE rates available) Qualifications and Education Requirements of our HGV Driver / Class 1 Driver: Valid (CE) licence and Tacho card Valid CPC card A minimum of 24 months' experience as a Class 1 driver is desirable No bans or major endorsements (IN, DR, DD) and no more than 6 points showing.
