Overview

DevOps Developer London, £80-90k bonus excellent benefits Bench IT require an experienced DevOps Developer to join a prestigious organisation based in central London on a permanent basis. The DevOps Developer will be supporting the transition of the existing codebase to cloud based systems. Essential Skills of DevOps Developer: Strong NET experience C# and ASP.NET MVC (.Net Core and Framework) Able to create and design databases, views, stored procedures, T-SQL statements in MS SQL Server (Oracle & Sybase experience also desirable) Strong understanding of DevOps practices including CICD and automated testing. Knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket and Jenkins would be advantageous To be able manage all aspects of development from start to finish, including testing, bug fixes deployment and support Create intuitive, logical and dynamic user interfaces using ASP.NET, as well as client side JavaScript, and AJAX Desirable Skills of DevOps Developer: Experience creating and maintaining production environments in public cloud (ideally either AWS/Azure/GCP) Strong understanding of architectural/design decisions relevant to cloud- native applications Scripting and automation experience with languages/tools such as: Powershell, Openshift, Terraform, etc DevOps Developer
