Overview
You will be working as an SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant at a school in Everton paying between £60 - £75 a day. Your new school You will be working for a very highly regarded and well facilitated primary school in Everton. You will have access to great amenities and will join a strong, supportive team within key stage 2. You will be working within a small class and will join a friendly and open team within the school. Your new role You will be working 1:1 with a child in KS2 who responds well to a structured day with clear boundaries and can display challenging behaviour on occasion so benefits from a caring but firm approach. This child works best in an environment which is engaging and in which the expectations are clearly displayed. With a keen competitive nature and a real drive to do well, this child has a huge amount of potential which would benefit from an individual who is keen to assist in academic development as this low ability child needs additional support with numeracy and literacy. What you'll need to succeed You will have a strong background as an SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant or within a similar comparable profession, working with children. You will enjoy the rewarding nature of working with children who can display challenging behaviour and will be keen to commit to a long term role. You will ideally have relevant qualifications however this is not vital.
