Overview
Visual Impairment Teaching assistant I am currently recruiting for a teaching assistant for a VI child in a mainstream school in South Birmingham. You will be working with a Year 3 child with visual impairments. The role is to start ASAP on a long term basis. As the child has VI, it is essential that you have experience with a braille machine. TA's must: Be experienced supporting pupils Hold a Level 3 or equivalent Have a DBS or be willing to apply for one. Be able to provide two references Be empathetic, determined and enthusiastic If you hold a Level 3 TA qualification and have experience working with pupils with VI please apply for the role and I will be in touch.
