Overview
My client Walsall Council are looking for an Integrated Business Processes Officer. Finance admin candidates would be a great fit but ideally they are looking for some knowledge of adult social care charges and knowledge of welfare benefits too. Main duties involve: 1. Work with senior managers to maximise and secure income due to the Council by taking effective and timely administration actions, including printing and issuing charge notifications, validation of financial information in relation to charges, printing invoices and dealing with queries. 2. Payment of adult social care provider invoices , including recording and validating financial transactions within the social care client record system 3. Effective use of corporate and department systems including the maintenance of data and production of reports 4. Providing a cost effective best in class customer focussed service, working with customers to ensure that their needs are met. Person Specification: Knowledge and understanding of the financial aspects of adult social care. Knowledge in the payment of invoices to suppliers. Experience of undertaking financial business processes. Experience in the collection of income preferably in the Social Care environment If this sounds like the role for you then please apply today.
