Overview
We have an exciting and unique new opportunity available for a Senior UX/UI Designer to join our client in Maidenhead. The Senior UX/UI Designer will be tasked with helping to develop the user experience and UI of a brand new software-as-a-service product . The position of Senior UX/UI Designer is ideal for a talented and creative UX-er who enjoys working collaboratively and in a small team within an agile, fast-changing environment. This new product harnesses cutting-edge data visualisation tools and techniques meaning the Senior UX/UI Designer will ideally be someone who has a passion for data visualisation and making the complex easy to understand for the user. Our client are a successful and fast-growing technology company , but they are still relatively small so the Senior UX/UI Designer will be tasked with UI design (i.e CSS). Main Responsibilities include: Delivering great prototypes and wireframes and helping the engineering team turn those into a great product. Taking a user-centred design approach and rapidly testing and iterating your designs. Conducting user research, interviews and testing for key features Collaborating with the software engineering team to design and deploy awesome new features. Championing UX best practices. Maintaining quality of the UI framework. The ideal Senior UX/UI Designer will have the following experience: Experience with web application design - intuitive websites, applications, platforms. Experience with user research using wireframes and prototypes. Collaborative approach working with engineers and product managers. Frontend UI development experience (CSS, JavaScript) Experience with IT operations users i.e. DevOps Engineers Knowledge or experience with data visualisation and making the complex easy to understand.
