Overview

Experienced Impact & Performance Manager required to join UKRI working on the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund. Your new role This is a brand new role which will be both challenging and rewarding working within the ISCF where you’ll be responsible for reporting on key metrics for both internal and external stakeholders whilst identifying trends and offering analysis across a portfolio of projects. You will be tasked to champion a data driven and impact focused culture within the programme, some of the key responsibilities and accountabilities are as follows: - Develop a strong understanding of your wider portfolio, undertaking trend analysis as appropriate and reporting regularly to relevant colleagues and ensuring consistency across the entire portfolio. - Providing regular fit for purpose dashboards, benefits tracker, quarterly reports and other relevant information required to successfully deliver the programme and meet senior stakeholder needs. - Regularly researching and identifying potential success stories, coordinating the development of related communications and publicity with the Challenge Team. - Monitor and analyse the output of the Monitoring Officers via teams dealing with monitoring and related activities, considering the accuracy of reporting and ensuring that due attention has been paid to forecasting and claims information What you'll need to succeed We are looking for candidates who are degree educated and have demonstrable data analytical skills ideally gained from working within the public sector You’ll need exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the gravitas to engage effectively with senior stakeholders and gain their buy in. We are looking for candidates who have experience of the R&D and product development cycles in technology, science, engineering or creative industries or highly relevant public sector experience You will excel in problem solving - data gathering and root cause analysis and have substantial experience of delivering to customer requirements with stakeholder buy in. In addition to the above you will need a high competency of ICT skills/ IT systems and applications including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access and an understanding of IT and its role in transactional business process. In addition to this you’ll earn between £38,318 - £42,576 per annum with 40.5 days annual leave plus bank holidays and have access to an amazing pension scheme. This role is being offered on a permanent basis and due to the nature of the Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund it will be field based with 1 to 2 days per week working in either the UKRI offices in London or Swindon, 1 to 2 days per week working from home and may involve some UK based travel attending meetings / conferences / workshops.
