Overview
Prospectus is excited to be partnering with Business in the Community to appoint their new Senior Institutional Partnerships Manager to focus on the International Tourism Partnership (ITP), BITC's international campaign for the hotel industry. The ITP brings together the world's leading international hotel companies to provide a voice for environmental and social responsibility in the hotel industry, and is a unique example of a sector coming together to collaborate in a non-competitive manner to take collective action on the UN SDGs. The team have seen immense success in this area and are looking to broaden the income generation portfolio to a wider set of institutional donors. The Senior Institutional Partnerships Manager, a maternity cover contract for the next 12-15 months, will be primarily responsible for developing and implementing an integrated and proactive income generation strategy for the Youth Creative Initiative (YCI) and wider projects for the organisation. You will maintain overall oversight of multiple country programme level funding for individual country programmes and project and will identify priorities feed into the overall fundraising strategy. You will line manage a dedicated Development Manager and enable them to grow and flourish in a busy, committed team. The selected candidate will have significant senior level experience of delivering income generation strategy in the international development sector, demonstrating clearly how they have secured six and seven figure funding from major development funders. You will be an excellent relationship builder and will be comfortable working through complex grant applications including proposal development, prospect research, budgeting and financial management, and knowledge of awards structures.
