Senior Engineer - Central London – Critical site We are currently looking for an experienced senior engineer to lead a team of 3 engineers in a critical data centre located in central London. This role offers a pleasing £45,000 as a basic salary, widespread pension scheme and an opening for plentiful career development. The model candidate will be accomplished, well thought-out & be able to maintain a site that will occupy a team of 3 Engineers, being on hand to provide technical support, as well as being on standby for the client. The successful candidate will be a required to work Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm. Duties for this role consist of, but are not restricted to; · Supervise the maintenance and repair to all M&E equipment in line with a regular PPM planner. · Supervise the conclusion of all reactive tasks assigned to the Engineering team, ensuring any deadlines are adhered to. · Take ownership of and manage all Engineering Health and Safety folders for the building site, ensuring all engineering compliance documents are kept up to date and any remedial works are completed to a sufficient standard. · Lead, inspire, correspond with, develop, review and performance manage engineering team to ensure they are fully motivated to achieve paramount performance. · Organise and if necessary assist in reactive repairs to the sites M&E equipment · Ensure that all engineering compliance documents & Health and Safety Management System folders are regularly updated · Approve contractor RAMS, issue work permits where required and ensure appropriate documentation and certification is provided following sub-contractor works Qualifications and Experience: · Level 3 -City & Guilds - Building Services Engineering HVAC or Electrical/ Mechanical or equivalent · Approved apprenticeship · 17/18th Edition IEE · Minimum 3-5 years experience as a Lead Engineer · Health & Safety awareness is necessary.
