You will ensure your interview if you have previous experience working in 'Hybrid, Multi-Vendor Network environments' utilising products such as Cisco, Juniper and/or HP and/or Huawei Routers, Switches and Hubs over GPON and P2P Networks. You will need to ambitious, have energy and commitment in abundance and be looking to progress to the next stage in your career with a fast-paced Network and Communications organisation. Networking experience or knowledge you will require includes: High-level knowledge of MPLS & protocols, BGP, OSPF & Layer 3 Trafficking. Experience in the Documentation of Technical Scenarios and Technical Issues. Provide network documentation including HLD and LLD. Ability to provide and understand IP network designs. Network technologies IP, Ethernet, Switching, VLANS, MPLS and good network security practices. Network operations, including, hands on experience with switches, routers, hubs, servers, firewalls, wireless, TCP/IP, ONT,UDP, IPT VoIP , QoS, MPLS, QinQ Creating and/or updating case notes on service incident tickets Technically competent with various Office software programs, such as Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint Knowledge of Business IT, i.e. home networks, servers, email, Wi-Fi access points, Ethernet over power lines etc. Your Responsibilities will consist of: Taking ownership of project work, as structured by the Head of Networks. Gain in-depth understanding of current issues/problems on the network and potential solutions Full understanding of the services delivered to customers, and their use. Monitoring of network status, and pro-active response to alarms Provide network documentation including HLD and LLD. Liaise with other departments to gather required information to complete tasks efficiently and effectively You will play an active part in the full project lifecycle, initially providing input and assistance for low level design (LLD) and configuration, as well as full Operational Support in a full multi-vendor environment.
