Overview

1 st & 2 nd Line IT Support Engineer A small but growing IT solutions provider, due to ongoing success, is now looking for an additional 1 st / 2 nd Line Support Engineer to be based from home and provide IT support to a handful of customers throughout Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and West Yorkshire. Reporting into the Senior IT Support Engineer, the successful individual will be responsible for the installation, configuration and both remote and on-site support to customers on Windows server 2012-2019 and Windows 7 / 10 desktop operating systems, Office 365, HP PC hardware and ProCurve switches and routers, Active Directory and TCP/IP including DHCP/DNS. The successful individual is likely to possess some form of IT qualifications such as CompTIA A, MCP’s or equivalent and be able to demonstrate at least 12 months commercial experience of working within a 1 st / 2 nd line helpdesk, customer or technical support capacity, providing a mixture of both remote and on-site support to customers; acting in a polite and professional manner at all times and delivering the best customer experience. Individuals must possess their own transport, be willing to travel on business as required and participate in an out of hour’s on-call rota. This position is offering a salary in the region of £23,000 - £25,000 together with stakeholder pension scheme and 20 days holiday Bank.
