Overview

Dev ops Engineer required to join a global solutions provider based in Central London. This is a contract opportunity paying £500-530 per day for an initial duration of 6 months. Please note, this opportunity is inside scope of IR35 . The Role This role encompasses the enhancement and maintenance of a distributed containerised system through IAC tooling as well as the day-to-day operational support of the production environment. The role would suit an individual from a systems administration (i.e. GNU/Linux and/or UNIX) background with strong experience with DevOps delivery practices such as immutable infrastructure, container orchestration and Continuous Integration. Essential Must have been involved in the delivery of at least one significant project using AWS Understanding of the following AWS Services is critical: EC2 VPC EKS IAM S3 VPN Direct connect Networking knowledge (cidr blocks etc) Be familiar with build pipelines using a CI/CD product, preferably Jenkins Full understanding of containerisation (Docker) Kubernetes experience preferred (Bare metal or EKS is acceptable) Bash/sh scripting Python Language Have worked in an Agile way (scrum) Infrastructure as code (Terraform and Or CloudFormation) Testing infrastructure as code.
