Refrigeration Service & Calibration Engineer – Field Based Ideal Location: Oxford Position Description We currently have an exciting opportunity for the position of Refrigeration Service & Calibration Engineer to join a project team. You will be supporting the UK sales team to deliver temperature-controlled cabinets throughout the region (Midlands to South coast). You will also provide calibration certification for any work performed to our customer base. This is a national role so willingness to travel UK wide with the possibility of overnights stays is required. The primary duty of the Field Service Engineer is to calibrate, Install, maintain and service all these devices. They will need to coordinate with customers, internal personnel or departments who will be affected by work. Duties and Responsibilities · Installation and delivery of equipment · Calibration/temperature mapping, servicing and maintenance of medical refrigeration equipment Provide support with the implementation, installation and commissioning of equipment into new and existing contracts Travel to various sites, performing preventive and reactive maintenance on medical equipment, including fault finding and diagnostic support Diagnose and complete repairs as required on medical equipment · Managing service contracts to ensure customer requirements are achieved · Work to maintain a high standard of customer service and in line with health and safety procedures for your safety as well as that of your colleagues, our customers and members of the public · Promptly raise any concerns regarding potential violations of the policies · Support the sales team with tender completion, technical requirements and training to customers on the client’s systems and their correct use Developing a high level of technical expertise within your assigned product category Update and submit accurate service records and timekeeping information Update client reporting systems in an accurate and timely manner Identify areas of improvement in the company and assist in creating and implementing solutions Maintain work areas in a clean organised manner · Be prepared for inclusion on a call out rota for out of hour's emergency response. · Participate in the on-call rota To perform and reasonable requests from Manager Essential Qualifications / Skills / Experience Worked on refrigeration and building controls, food factory equipment, general equipment, electrical repairs. · Essential to hold Level 2 or 3 NVQ Diploma in Servicing and Maintaining Refrigeration Systems · Essential to hold the 'F-GAS 2079 Refrigerant Handling' qualification · Minimum 2yrs field-based experience · Working knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and can implement these on site Strong customer management experience Familiar with and working to ISO Quality standards (ISO 9001 & 13485) Hold a clean UK Driving License Ability to apply a scientific approach to problem solving, blending analytical and experimental skills to maximise overall effectiveness and efficiency Working to tight deadlines and budgets Desirable Qualifications / Skills / Experience · Working with HELMA products · CO2 experience This is a Service position with no reactive work and you will have the remit to design your own schedule & route.
