EXCLUSIVE TO CHROMA: This is a very exciting opportunity to join a company that has been steadily expanding due to new projects and future planning. This engineering organisation is looking for a Firmware Engineer to join there large engineering team working with electronics and mechanical functions. The role of Firmware Engineer reports directly to the Lead Electronics Engineer who oversees the team working on new and legacy product development. This is a fast-paced role offering someone the chance to work in a varied role where no two days are the same. There are multiple projects running at any one time supplying into a global customer base. An important part of this position is culture. We're looking for someone that is happy to work as part of a team and take a collaborative approach to engineering problem solving. The role of Firmware Engineer is also offering the chance to travel but is not compulsory. This role is ideally suited for engineers who enjoy doing both hardware and firmware design, looking for a role with a close 50/50 split. Firmware Engineer Requirements: Degree qualified in Electronics/Software Engineering Embedded C programming All microcontrollers considered Real Time Operating Systems CAN/CANbus protocols is advantageous Analogue/Digital Circuit Design DFT/DFM If you have the required skills and experience for this Firmware Engineer role, then please get in touch ASAP with an up to date copy of your CV.
