Overview
Location: Tipton and Oldbury Sites Hrs of Work: Core hours are Monday to Friday 08:00-16:30, however flexibility a must to meet business needs Rate: Starting at approximately £10.55 per hour dependent on experience Overview of Role: To undertake effective maintenance and preventative maintenance of both facilities and equipment to ensure the continued effectiveness of the business’s day to day activities. Mandatory Experience in the following areas: Dealing with Machine breakdowns Identification and sourcing of replacement parts Maintenance of fire alarms and sprinklers Portable Appliance Testing Ladders/Cranes/Slings/Chains/Forklift Trucks/Company Vehicle, Racking etc. inspections and reports Liaising with external specialists where applicable Facilities Maintenance Coupled with a working knowledge of regulations for: Working at heights Asbestos Ladder and racking inspections H&S and Risk Assessments And in possession of the following mandatory Skills: Safety awareness General maintenance Attention to detail Good oral and written communication Problem solver Flexibility Self motivated/driven Holders of the following mandatory Qualifications: Electrical Engineering qualification PAT Tester Driving Licence as some travel between two sites required And where possible: Recent and up to date IEE Wiring Regulations C&G Parts 2 & 3 Electrical Engineers Installation How to Apply If this role is of interest and you would like to learn more please attach your CV to the link provided and the Hiring Company will be in direct contact.
