CAD Draughtsperson Newcastle Upon Tyne Monday to Friday (37.5 hours) £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience Our client is a complex engineering business looking to recruit an experienced Draughtsperson into their Engineering team, You will be responsible for producing 3D drawings to support complex and bespoke engineering solutions. About you With a HNC/HND in mechanical engineering, you will have extensive experience in drawing complex mechanical components to meet customer expectations. Working closely with the wider engineering team, you will ideally have previous experience of either Solidworks or AutoCAD Inventor. My client is a modern, solutions focussed organisation who offer an ideal working environment for the right candidate. Reporting to the Principle Engineer to complete 3D layouts, detailing for individual parts and general arrangements. Ensuring necessary drawings are produced, updated & compliant with best industry practice. Issuing designs and drawings for approval and co-ordinate approvals to customer instructions to manufacture. Other duties that may be required include corresponding with customers to request information, communicate problems or notify them of key events. Relevant qualifications in a mechanical engineering discipline (HNC/HND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent). Experience in drafting 3D Drawings using AutoCAD software.
