Job Description
An opportunity for an enthusiastic, reliable and professional candidate to join an existing team of trainers within The Construction Academy at Newcastle College. The candidate will have responsibility for a case load of up to 35 learners over levels 1 to 3 in the Carpentry and Joinery discipline. Responsible for planning, which will include an excellent standard of teaching, learning and assessment. Candidate needs to be a fully qualified assessor and hold at least a level 3 vocational qualification within this trade. The successful candidate will develop a range of learning resources and have an understanding of both frameworks and new standard qualifications. The candidate will also be expected to have effective communication skills as the role is spread across both college and work base facilities.
