Senior Medical Writer-Meetings and Events - London A fantastic opportunity has arisen for Senior Medical Writer to join a large well-established independent agency based in London. This full-service agency has a significant global reach and partner with some of the most innovative organisations across the biotech and pharma sector. They have a wonderful company culture and you will be part of a team where you can flourish and develop your career. -As a Senior Medical Writer you will have a key role in the development of content for clients' projects, and ensuring that all work is aligned with client objectives and budgetary requirements. -This particular role will cover projects within oncology and prostate cancer but you will also work across a variety of other therapy areas -This will include adapting content and writing style to the clients wants and needs. -You will also liaise with medical experts and be expected to keep up to date with advances in different therapeutic areas. -The agency offers mixed projects covering all aspects of med communications including meetings, digital and publications. You will play a key role in developing materials for meetings and events. -As this is a senior writing post there will be responsibility in mentoring junior writers and reviewing other writer's projects. Requirements A minimum of a Bsc, ideally combined with a science Masters or PhD Approximately 3-4 years' relevant writing experience and experience in a medical communications environment Previous experience working on oncology projects Experience of attending and supporting clients at scientific meetings and events (congresses, symposia, advisory boards) Experience of reviewing, proofing and editing other writers' work The agency are located in fantastic location and the office space is attractive- you can make use of a roof top bar and gym They invest in career development and offer excellent benefits including free exercise classes, your birthday off and really flexible / homeworking.
