Our care homes are lovely for our residents to live in, welcoming for relatives to pop in and visit and equally important, great places for our staff to work. Your New Clinical Team Lead Job: As the Clinical Team Lead you will lead the delivery of a quality and comprehensive dementia care and nursing care service within our NEW care home. This is a hands on role with the opportunity to spend time with residents and staff. You will have dedicated management time to ensure effective running and allocation of work to a team of Registered Nurses and Healthcare Assistants. Summary of duties: · Act as Clinical Lead for the Home. · Be a highly performing role model and an inspiring leader by adopting and leading a culture that endorses the company’s values and ethos. · To maintain excellent clinical performance and health & safety standards. · Advise the Home Manager and the Service Support Manager on clinical care matters. · Lead the nursing and care team, through protected supernumerary and practice hours. · To support the maintenance of a positive reputation for the Home in the local community. · Oversee all aspects of the Home in the absence of the Care Home Manager in partnership with the Service Support Manager · In conjunction with Services Support Manager, take lead role undertaking audits and generating and implementing action plans in line with annual governance program · To help build and maintain a well-motivated and engaged workforce. · To perform direct nursing duties on a basis agreed with the Home Manager in accordance with contractual arrangements. · Maintain effective communication and adhere to company policies What You Need To Succeed: · Valid RGN or RMN NMC Registration. · Experience within a health and social care setting with older people. · You may also have experience in the following: Deputy Care Home Manager, Deputy Care Manager, Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead, Clinical Manager, Head of Care, Care Home Manager or Care Manager. · A clear understanding of CQC standards/ legislation. · Great written and verbal skills for communication and understanding. · Good IT skills and confidence in computer-based work.
