We have worked hard to establish ourselves as the number one funder in the Introducer market and have exciting plans in place to grow our Asset Finance business further. You will report into the Commercial Director, who will be your line manager and you will be part of the AF Management Team responsible for the leadership of the Sales Support and Broker Oversight activities across Asset Finance to enable the business to achieve its long term objectives. What would your day look like? Management of the Sales Support team - this involves ensuring that the team are providing the best support to the External & Internal BDM's broker portfolios, ensuring that all inbound queries received by both telephone and email are managed in a timely and effective manner, together with proactive management of the pipeline to achieve our budgets Management of the Docs Incomplete team - this involves ensuring that the team are liasing with our Brokers in a timely and effective manner (by telephone) in order to aid the resolution of documentation and payout queries to ensure as quick and seamless payout process as possible. Design, recruit, build and manage a Broker Oversight team of 2 (from scratch) with the capability to enhance our regulatory oversight within our Broker relationships whilst building long term compliant relationships to support our sales activities Working with our cross functional teams to deliver a market leading, consistent Broker experience led by our Sales team Across all teams you will be required to assist with more complex pricing and deal structures, use your credit appraisal skills to assist the teams and team leaders when appealing credit decisions or conditions and assist with escalation points at the point of payout. Managing the 3 team leaders will require regular 121's and bi-annual performance reviews, providing training and coaching on a continuous basis and ensuring that they are fully knowledgeable on all Aldermore Products and relationship management skills in order for them to disseminate this to their teams. Act as an escalation point with both Introducers and your team leaders developing the expertise and skills to empower the team leaders to make commercial decisions, whilst keeping the bank safe. Interface with the Head of Broker and Head of Strategic Initiatives on proposed strategies for the division, leading on the operational aspects of how they can be implemented successfully Responsibility for leading the relationship with the New Business team driving process improvements in order to improve service levels at every opportunity Maintaining cross functional relationships at a team leader level to drive collaboration and improved communication across the Asset Finance business Embedding the Broker Oversight model into the business, ensuring that our Brokers are conducting themselves as per FCA guidelines and the processes that Aldermore implement as a result.
