Overview

Occupational Health Manager – Newbury – FT - £44k OH333 We are working with a large OH Provider to source an Occupational Health Manager to be based at a client site in Newbury, Berkshire. Your role will be to lead the Occupational Health Service in order to provide high quality, efficient evidence based occupational health services to managers, employees and external organisations under contract. Main duties of the role include: Day to day management of the OH service. Provide specialist advice and management plans to fulfil clients OH requirements. Determine and develop the OH strategy. Manage OH nursing resource and objectives. Undertake regular individual performance reviews. Advise, monitor, and assess clinical practice of the OH team Audits. Health education and promotion. Pre-placement health screening. Health assessments and health surveillance. Deliver a case management service. Requirements of the role: Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Health. Experience working in corporate field of Occupational Health Competent in Health Surveillance (FLT, audiometry, skin, noise) Broad experience of OH nursing. Experience of managing a team. IT literate Must hold a valid driving license and use of own car is essential This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Role break down is 50% client liaison and management and 50% clinical delivery (referrals and PPHQs). Salary is up to £44,000 per annum plus benefits.
