Overview

An excellent opportunity for a Registered Manager has arisen to join this fantastic family run care provider. My client takes pride in providing good quality care and support for adults with Mental Health, providing long-term accommodation and care in residential and supported living care services. You would have responsibility for being the Registered Manager of a Residential Service supporting 27 Adults with Mental Health conditions. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to join a smaller care provider, the role will be very well supported and offer you the opportunity to really make a difference and influence the future of service. You will be an experienced Registered Manager with proven results of delivering a high level of care, you will also be a great people manager. There is a lovely staff team in place already and the home is full. This service does require an authoritative manager who can raise the standards of care within the service and has experience of implementing new policies were necessary as the service needs a manager to bring about a sense of stability and drive the standards of care provided forwards. Registered Manager - Responsibilities: • You will be responsible for managing all aspects of running the home including the supervision of staff, rotas, care planning, quality assurance, training and management of medication. • Responsible for the management and supervision of staff to enable them to maximise their potential through leadership, coaching, example, support and guidance. • You will be responsible for adhering to all CQC regulations and raising standards of care where necessary. • You will be responsible for ensuring all Care Plans are kept up to date and truly reflect both the wishes and best possible outcomes for those supported. The ideal candidate will have: • Experience of managing Mental Health services and complex needs • Experience of supporting people with Mental Ill Health in a health or social care setting • Track record of enabling choice and control to be a reality for people with Mental Health • Previous history of being a Registered Manager • Experience of line managing a team • NVQ 5 or above would be ideal • Very good knowledge and understanding of CQC, Health and Safety and Local Authority requirements. • Able to communicate effectively to a range of audiences, both verbally and in writing including staff development. Salary: £30-35K : Depending on Experience Previously successful candidates have come from an established Registered Manager Position and worked with Mental Health for Adult services.
