Responsibilities You will be responsible for driving forward the implementation of an eCommerce web solution including satellite projects including UI components, build libraries, and associated modules. Working as part of an integrated agile team you will ensure technical excellence and insight through inception to completion of new and existing features in a mobile-first customer-centric world. We are looking for someone that … Work across multiple agile teams, advising, mentoring and line managing other Software Engineers in the UK Act as an escalation point for Scrum Teams, both in Europe & the UK, unblocking technical or project related issues to maintain project progress. Support the Development Manager with resourcing and other day to day management duties, deputising for them on occasion Maintain high performing teams by driving continuous improvement of engineering and agile practices and standards. Be an active member of the Kingfisher wide technical lead team to help define development processes, and code quality standards, also serve as a technical leader within the organisation. Promote TDD to design and develop operationally maintainable solutions in accordance with Kingfisher standards Estimate size of pieces of development work Where required, work as part of Scrum Teams in a highly collaborative manner, delivering business value of a high, maintainable quality Develop and maintain tools to support the software development and deployment processes Qualifications: · React (or React-like libraries) · Redux (or similar centralised state library) · Knowledge of Most, RxJS or other Observable libraries · Experience of Functional Programming techniques and libraries · Understanding and appreciation of SOLID principles and XP methodology · Experience with a build pipeline and associated tooling (e.g. Webpack, Browserify, Babel) · Experience writing JS primarily targeting mobile deployment · An interest in or experience with CSS-in-JS solutions LI-SM3 This job was originally posted as www.cwjobs.co.uk/job/89755521
