Overview

I am working with my client who are a global media company, responsible for a number of high end publications. They have a requirement for a Software Enginner to come on board on a 12 month FTC to work within their business development team on new and exciting (top secret) greenfield projects and product launches. They are predominantly using React, Node and AWS but are respectful that you may prefer to one are of the stack over another. Key duties & responsibilities Track record of leading and mentoring a team of developers Consider yourself a fullstack developer, understanding both frontend and backend technologies. Able to liase and manage relationships with both technical and non technical stakeholders Contributing to their inclusive and collaborative work culture Able to find the balance between build quality and speed of delivery Help your team define and reach both your personal and team goals Key Attributes A Javascript expert with an understanding of fullstack development Commercial experience using AWS, Node.js and React You should know about continuous integration, testing strategies, design systems, software architecture, data and analytics, user experience, accessibility, internationalisation, web performance Experience and/or interest in working with digital advertising Experience and/or interest in working in publishing Experience and/or interest in working with Fashion Being comfortable working with a variety of third party APIs and developer tools Ability to speak foreign languages and having international experience is always advantageous Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle, from a card in a backlog, through planning and development, to deploying and monitoring in production If this sounds like something you are interested in then I would love to hear from you.
