Buildings Project Engineers (Rail) - Manchester/Birmingham - £420/day inside IR35 Our client are recruiting for 3 experienced Project Engineers based in Manchester or Birmingham on a long term contract. The rate is up to £420/day inside IR35. You will have worked on major rail projects. You will have specific experience in Mechanical and Electrical engineering on Rail Infrastructure or have a buildings fabric/structures background. A Building Surveyor/Building Regulation background in the rail sector is preferable. Ideally you have got or had a PTS. You will manage design and construction activities for allocated projects. Ensuring that appropriate engineering standards are used in relation to design and construction on allocated projects within the Programme. Ideally you will have previous railway experience of performing DPE, PE, CEM or CRE duties combined with some design experience to be able to confirm adequacy of submitted designs. Essential Successful relevant experience in engineering disciplines, ideally with involvement in construction and design projects across multi discipline areas. Relevant Technical qualifications and signal licences. Knowledge of quality assurance. An understanding of the arrangements required for the independent assessment of work. CDM, risk assessment, auditing internal and external competency.
