Lead Maintenance Engineer Haverhill £35,000 to £50,000 D.O.E. 23 Days Holiday Bank Holidays Pension Healthcare Life Assurance DAYS - Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00 (Some Flexibility Required) (M-Th 8-5, F 8-4) Lead Maintenance Engineer with electrical bias required for an independent and successful specialties chemical manufacturer, making ingredients for the global contact lens market. This is a great chance for those looking to play a key part in developing the engineering department and get involved with new investment and site improvement projects. This role would suit a Maintenance Engineer/Technician from a process, nuclear, oil & gas, wastewater treatment or similar background. Those with experience in Comp-Ex / ATEX environment will hold a considerable advantage. You must be an electrically biased engineer OR a multi skilled engineer with strong electrical skills. The company are about to undergo a significant site improvement programme and you will be heavily involved in this. You will hold responsibility for all maintenance operations on site. This includes planned and reactive maintenance on a range of process equipment, e.g. pumps / chillers / oil baths / reactors / motors / tanks and compressors. This includes electrical, instrumentation and mechanical work (e.g. fitting pipes and replaces gauges). You will also hold seniority over the two existing maintenance engineers / technicians.
