Overview
Junior Technical Sales Engineer - with one years experience required for our client based in Blackburn. This opportunity is for a Civil or Geotechnical Graduate to become a Civil Engineering Technician working closely with the Technical Sales Support Engineer. The company the Civil Technician are working for supply innovate products to the Civil and Geotechnical industry to provide solutions to Ground & Subgrade Stabilisation as well as Soil Reinforcement systems. This role would be perfect for someone with the ability to communicate technical information effectively through various formats including telephone and email. This role for a Civil Engineering Technician will give the suitable candidate a role that is ever changing by delivering solutions to a range of challenging engineering situations. The opportunity will include assessing design drawings and technical reports to extract the required parameters to provide support and/or produce a design. Junior Technical Sales Engineer Position Overview Assess design drawings and technical reports to extract the required parameters to provide support and produce a design . Validate application suggestions of internal customers Updating CRM system to track work To provide/prepare cost effective, application suggestions and tender submission Build strong working relationships cross-functionally providing technical support to internal customers Junior Technical Sales Engineer Position Requirements BEng or MEng degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering Excellent communicator Previous experience working within an office environment within the civil engineering sector High level of computer literacy, use of design software, Microsoft office, CRM systems Awareness of Health and Safety and CDM 2015 regulations Live local to Blackburn Experience of dealing with technical enquires National travel may be required at times Customer-centric mindset Junior Technical Sales Engineer Position Remuneration Salary Dependant on experience £26K Monday to Friday - 37 hours per week Free on-site parking International Company and Market Leaders Opportunity to progress within role and Company 33 days holiday (includes bank holidays) Pension matched up to 6% We, Bennett and Game Recruitment, a technical recruitment agency based in Chichester are acting as a Recruitment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
