Manufacturing Technicians are our key Process/Machine Operators. The main purpose of this role is to produce the Quorn product range in accordance with the plant operating instructions such that the product conforms to all manufacturing specifications. You will take ownership for the day to day machine running, getting to know equipment to ensure it is working as efficiently and effectively as possible. You’ll complete machine changeovers, monitor and control stock of materials and ingredients to optimise production and minimise waste, perform basic maintenance tasks and repairs as well as root cause analysis of issues to take appropriate action. Key accountabilities and responsibilities of the role include: · Ensuring that all product is manufactured to specifications outlined in document standards · Ensuring shutdown/handovers/start up procedures are carried out in accordance with documented standards · Have an understanding of food safety, quality, and GMP standards and your impact/ contribution to them. · Be alert to hazards and unsafe conditions and take prompt action to address them Essential/Desirable skills should include: · Food Safety Level 2 qualification · Production qualification or experience · Knowledge of good health and safety practices including manual handling · A drive to succeed – good time management, effective communication skills, developing winning relationships All roles will be working 12 hour shifts rotating across days, nights, Bank Holidays and weekends – the salary shown includes shift allowance.
